Data Sources and Sample Notes
This page explains the purpose of website demonstrations, the meaning of displayed fields, and coverage details that are not currently disclosed in verifiable public materials.
What the website samples are
The interactive table on the homepage is powered by front-end demonstration data to show filtering, fields, and export controls. The rows are embedded in the website script; they are not a live query interface and are not evidence of actual transactions, buyer identities, or market size. Do not use them for commercial due diligence, credit, or compliance decisions.
How to interpret fields
Pages may display fields such as transaction month, trade direction, HS code, company names, product description, quantity unit, and declared value. Field availability, completeness, currency, and measurement basis in an actual sample must be confirmed for the requested product and period.
Limits of public coverage information
The public pages do not currently provide verifiable start and end dates, update frequency, coverage completeness, or record-level source details. We therefore do not claim real-time availability, completeness, or a specific number of records for any period here. When requesting a sample, specify the product or HS code, target period, and required fields; confirm the source notes, methodology, and limitations before use.
Practical checks
- Cross-check HS codes with product descriptions, company names, and the relevant period.
- Do not assume declared value, statistical value, and transaction price use the same basis.
- Validate important decisions against source documents or independent references.
- Ask for clarification when records have missing values, translation differences, or company-name variants.
Request a sample for verification
Use the sample request page to provide a product, HS code, and period. Check the field dictionary, source notes, coverage period, currency, and units with the sample. If those details are not supplied, contact a data adviser before relying on it.
